IP68: WHAT YOU CAN AND CAN'T DO

If a device is IP68 certified, it means it can be submerged in fresh water at depths of up to one metre for a maximum of 30 minutes, provided the terminal protections are kept properly sealed.

We leave you some tips for any terminal with IP68 certification:

Do not expose your IP68 smartphone to water currents, such as tap water, ocean waves, or waterfalls.
Additionally, if your IP68 smartphone has been exposed to fresh water, dry it carefully with a clean, soft cloth.
If your IP68-rated smartphone has been exposed to any liquid other than fresh water (such as seawater), rinse the device gently with fresh water immediately and dry thoroughly with a soft, clean cloth.
If you have any doubts about whether the guards are properly closed. NO you get it wet.
Avoid aggressive testing to demonstrate your endurance
It is not advisable to manipulate the device buttons in the water.
It is recommended NOT to soak the device in salt water because the IP certification only applies to fresh water.
