*IP68 is an International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) water ingress protection rating that indicates the level of protection provided by an enclosure against the intrusion of solid particles (such as dust) and liquids (such as water). 6 means it's completely dustproof. 8 means it can be submerged in water for a period of time. R60 is tested to be resistant to immersion to 1.5 meters underwater. However, we recommend using this device sparingly and never submerging it in salt water.
